Terms of Service

Operated by 9355-8294 Québec Inc., doing business as UCWonder · Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of UCWonder. The service is owned and operated by 9355-8294 Québec Inc., doing business as "UCWonder" (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our"), a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

UCWonder provides travel planning tools, including an AI concierge that assembles itineraries, the purchase of digital gift cards, curated links to third-party travel partners for flights, stays, and experiences, and an in-stay digital concierge for participating accommodations — including stay verification, house information, an AI chat assistant, and guest reward programs offered by participating hosts.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to make purchases.

4. Bookings and payments

Stays, flights, and activities are booked directly on partner sites (for example, Booking.com, Agoda, Vrbo, or Trip.com); payment for those bookings is collected by the partner under the partner's own terms. Purchases made on UCWonder itself (such as gift cards) are processed by Stripe and displayed in CAD unless stated otherwise. Gift cards are delivered digitally to your wallet and remain subject to the issuing brand's own terms, conditions, and expiry rules.

5. Third-party and affiliate links

Some links lead to external partner sites (for example, hotel searches on Booking.com or Agoda via our partner networks). We may earn a commission on bookings completed through those links, at no additional cost to you. Bookings made on partner sites constitute contracts between you and the partner: the partner's terms, prices, availability, and cancellation policies apply, and the Company is not responsible for services provided by partners.

6. Check-in, security deposits and incidentals

UCWonder is a digital travel platform and is never the accommodation provider. At check-in, guests must present a physical personal credit card in a name that exactly matches the booking name; the hotel or accommodation front desk will process any security deposit or pre-authorization directly on that card. Deposit amounts and hold policies are set by each hotel or partner, not by the Company. Any room damage, incidental charges, or additional consumption are the sole responsibility of the guest. Failure to present a matching physical credit card may result in denied check-in by the provider, for which the Company bears no refund or compensation liability.

7. Guest rewards and loyalty programs

Participating hosts may offer promotional guest perks through the service (for example, complimentary breakfast credits, coffee vouchers, or loyalty points). These perks are offered by the participating host or property and administered by the Company. The following conditions apply to all such programs:

  • Eligibility. Rewards require a verified, non-cancelled reservation at a participating property and a UCWonder account. Reward type and value may depend on when your booking was made.
  • Limits. Rewards are capped per reservation based on the registered guest count, and may be limited per day. Rewards for children may be claimed by an accompanying adult account holder.
  • Availability window. Rewards become available starting the day after check-in and can only be claimed and opened during your stay.
  • Expiry. Any claimed reward that has not been opened by the end of your stay (checkout day) expires and is forfeited without compensation. Once a reward has been opened, the issuing brand's own terms and expiry rules apply.
  • No cash value. Rewards and loyalty points have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged or refunded, and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.
  • Third-party fulfilment. Rewards are fulfilled through third-party providers (such as Tango Card and the issuing gift-card brands). The Company is not responsible for provider downtime or the terms of the issuing brand.
  • Fraud and abuse. We may void rewards, revoke points, and suspend or terminate accounts in cases of duplicate accounts, false claims, misuse of group codes, or other abuse.
  • Program changes. The host or the Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any reward or loyalty program at any time. Rewards already opened remain valid under the issuing brand's terms.

8. AI-generated content and concierge chat

Itineraries, suggestions, and chat responses produced by the AI concierge are provided for convenience and may contain inaccuracies. Please verify important details (opening hours, availability, and travel requirements) before relying on them. The in-stay chat assistant is an automated service and is not a substitute for your host or for emergency services — in an emergency, call 911. Chat messages are stored so that hosts can review and follow up on guest requests (see our Privacy Policy).

9. Marketing communications

At signup you may optionally consent to receive marketing emails such as local recommendations and offers. Marketing consent is separate from these Terms, is never required to use the service, and can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional messages (such as receipts, reward confirmations, and account notices) are sent regardless of marketing preference.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to circumvent security measures, scraping content at scale, submitting fraudulent bookings or reward claims, creating multiple accounts to exceed reward limits, or using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the service. The Company's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to the Company in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be waived under Québec consumer protection law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in Montréal, Québec.
